On September 28, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs and the General Administration of quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine jointly announced the Measures for Parallel Management of average fuel consumption and New Energy Vehicle Points of Passenger Vehicle Enterprises. The formulation of the measures is an urgent need to implement the decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said: it will accelerate the rapid popularization of energy-saving technologies such as traditional automobile lightweight and improve the overall technical level of the industry.

International policies and measures for automobile lightweight
